Kaplanian will lead product managers in conducting market research and developing new enhancements for Serials Solutions services

Jane Burke, vice president and general manager of Serials Solutions, a business unit of ProQuest, is pleased to announce that Harry Kaplanian recently joined Serials Solutions as Director of Product Management. Kaplanian comes to Serials Solutions from Microsoft, where he worked developing Live Search Books. 

Kaplanian works with Serials Solutions Product Managers to develop new features and enhancements for Serials Solutions e-resource access and management services. Kaplanian’s team collaborates with customers to understand the demands of the library market as it evolves and create products that answer the needs of digital librarians today.

Kaplanian, who served as Vice President of Development at Mandarin Library Automation and Director of Development at SIRS, says, “Working at Serials Solutions brings together my separate backgrounds in publishing and library automation. I’m excited to be working on the future of library automation, which is cataloging, organizing, and helping librarians manage their electronic content.
