Education and aggregated content solutions earn prestigious recognition

ANN ARBOR, MI, April 9, 2015 – Evaluated for excellence and innovation, four of ProQuest’s content and education solutions are finalists for five 2015 SIIA CODiE Awards, presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the leading association representing the software and digital content industries. Providing diversity and depth with unique, specialized and curated content are compelling distinctions of ProQuest Dialog and ProQuest History Vault within the aggregated content category. ProQuest Research Companion, an information literacy solution, is a finalist for two education awards, and ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher is a finalist for the ninth consecutive year.

Representing the information industry’s best products and technologies, the following ProQuest solutions are finalists in the industry’s only peer-reviewed award program.

“Content diversity and technology that makes access easy with precision searching are just a few examples of attributes in our solutions that contributed to achieving this recognition,” said Kurt Sanford, CEO, ProQuest. “ProQuest is committed to delivering information solutions with relevant content that enables new insights, inspires research and advances learning outcomes.”

“The CODiE Awards competition was extremely competitive this year and our finalists set the standard for innovation and quality in the media, publishing and information service markets,” said Mike Marchesano, Managing Director of ABM and the SIIA Content & Information Services Division (CISD). “Each and every finalist should be commended for their innovation and market leading products and services.”

Judges with considerable industry expertise carefully evaluated each product using rigorous category-specific criteria. Winners of the respective categories will be announced at SIIA’s education technology conference in May and the information industry summit in June.

Details about each finalist are listed at http://siia.net/codies/2015/finalists.asp.
