Meet Daren Chung! Daren joined Serials Solutions in the fall of 2010. Working as the Manager of Client Services and Support for the Americas, Daren’s technical support background and passion for the industry make him an invaluable member of the Serials Solutions team.

What is your professional background?

Although my degree is in Electronics Engineering,I’ve been in client services and technical support positions all of my professional life.

What do you like most about working for Serials Solutions?

The freedom to do what’s right by the customer. I really appreciate the organization’s attitude of “try anything once”; that it’s ok try something different, even if it has never been done. It allows for innovation and transformation in ways consistent with an ever-changing market!

What do you find most exciting about the future of the library?

I am excited that I am a part of developing the library of the future.

Who is your favorite author?

I am more of a periodicals and non-fiction guy than anything, so I really don’t have a favorite.  If you can inform and entertain me at the same time, you’ve got my thumbs up.

Do you have a favorite library? If so, what is it?

My favorite is my local library where my family goes. It became a whole new source of inspiration once I joined Serials Solutions.
