(No, no – not the NHL championship cup. Although, since we're in Chicago this week anyway, we do need to give a shout-out to the Blackhawks for their big win this week. Nice going, guys!)

With a nod to Flat Stanley (http://www.flatstanley.com/), we offer up to our ALA visitors:

Flat Eugene!

Since the 75th anniversary requires gifts of comics (ok... we're stretching it a bit, stay with us), we’ve developed a comic book to detail the beginnings of ProQuest. Eugene B. Power and the Wild Beginnings of UMI  is available via download, after you give us a little info on yourself, of course.

On the back page of the comic, there’s Flat Eugene, which we’re encouraging everyone to print out and take around ALA 2013 with them, or wherever they happen to be traveling this summer. Then we’re asking that you send us pictures to post on our social media sites for all to enjoy.

Where on earth can YOU take Flat Eugene?
