Andrew Nagy, ProQuest Product Manager Lead, was asked to speak at a workshop on “Next Generation Discovery” at NFAIS (National Federation of Advanced Information Services), held June 20 at the Hub Cira Centre in Philadelphia.

According to the NFAIS website, the workshop focused on "... the major discovery services with a focus on Serials Solutions’ Summon Service and Primo Central from Ex Libris.... the speakers will provide an overview of how they see the discovery service marketplace evolving, how the market has shifted, the expectations of both users as well as business partners, and the future directions of these services may be headed... the current features and functionalities of their services, and the future enhancements that can be expected in the near future."

THE NFAIS website describes the group's mission as seeking to "be recognized as the acknowledged leader in the global information community for all organizations that create, aggregate, organize, and otherwise provide ease of access to and effective navigation and use of authoritative, credible information."
