PROQUEST® HISTORY VAULT
Coming Soon: New Primary Source Material Modules

ProQuest® History Vault enables researchers to explore some of the most widely-studied topics in 20th-century American history, including slavery, plantation life, and the African American struggle for freedom; women’s rights; the Vietnam War; and politics.

Modules to be added in 2014 include:

• Final NAACP Collections:
– Special Subjects includes early complaints on civil rights, important conferences where strategies for black advancement were discussed, race relations in America during the 1940s and 1950s, NAACP relations with African colonial liberation movements, and more.
– Branch Department and Files chronicle the local heroes of the civil rights revolution via NAACP branches throughout the United States, from 1913-1972. The contributions of scores of local leaders are revealed in these records.

• U.S. Military Intelligence Reports (1911-1944) offer comprehensive documentation of developments and events in the key nations of the world between World War I and World War II. These reports include interviews with military and government officials, evaluations of political parties and movements, and eyewitness coverage of military action.
