New quarterly Keyword process implemented
At Pivot, our team of experienced Funding Opportunity Editors regularly review the Pivot database and apply keywords. Keyword indexing enables users to find the most relevant funding opportunities for their fields of study. We know research fields are growing and evolving at an increasingly rapid rate.
To keep pace, the Pivot Editorial Team has implemented a new quarterly review process to add new terms to the vocabulary to fit emerging fields of interest to our customers.
Experience, thoughtful review and attention to detail means better matches
Using years of experience and knowledge, Pivot Funding Opportunity Editors regularly review each record in the database with the goal of enabling users to find the most relevant opportunities for their fields of study. Records are carefully tagged, with keywords added or deleted as funding opportunities are added or changed or new terms become available. Editors suggest terms that convey concepts they see regularly as part of the new review process. In addition, the Team reviews user-generated free-text entries for concepts or growing fields that need to be covered. While keywording has always been a priority for funding opportunities, we hope researchers will be delighted with the increase in new terms generated through this new more rigorous quarterly review process.
