Mentors. Advocates. Trailblazers. These are just some of the roles today’s great LIS instructors fulfill.
ProQuest is proud to recognize the women and men educating and inspiring future librarians, ensuring that the profession grows and evolves in meaningful ways.
The annual LJ Teaching Award honors the winning LIS teacher with an article in the November 15 issue of Library Journal, a $5,000 prize, and a reception at the ALA Midwinter Meeting.
Current LIS students, recent graduates, and faculty members are encouraged to nominate candidates who have taught a course at an ALA-accredited master's program within the last two years as a full-time faculty member or as an adjunct. For complete guidelines and to nominate someone, click here.
