Internships & Co-ops
Internships are designed to give students meaningful, real-world experience to help prepare them for their professional careers ahead.  Co-op opportunities may also be available. There are possible opportunities in the following areas: Publishing, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Information Technology, Operations, Finance, and Administration. To qualify, you must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, with at least a 3.0 GPA. In addition, to qualify for a co-op you must be an undergraduate junior or senior, or a graduate student.

Internships

When
Internships are typically conducted over a 3-4 month period, beginning in April or May and ending in August. Summer internships consist of a full-time work schedule. However, there may be the possibility of on-going internships which are full-time throughout the summer and then part-time throughout the student's academic school year.

Where
Internships will be conducted in different locations throughout the U.S. and in international locations. Review the specific job posting to find the location.

If you decide to pursue this opportunity as a credit-bearing internship, you will need to get approval from your academic department prior to the start of the academic semester in which you wish to register for the internship.

Co-ops

When
Co-ops may be conducted during any academic semester. The student does a rotational schedule of working full-time for one semester and then going to school for the next semester.

Co-ops will be conducted in different locations throughout the U.S. and in international locations. Review the specific job posting to find the location.

Most recruiting will start in December, and job postings will likely appear around that same time.

  • We will post the internships on the online sites at various colleges and universities
  • Recruiters and hiring managers visit career fairs
  • Recruiters and hiring managers may also hold information sessions at colleges and universities
  • Available internships and co-ops will be posted on the ProQuest career site
