Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience & Service
Michael Gersch is Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience & Service. In this role, Mr. Gersch leads and coordinates the development and execution of innovative go-to-market strategies to drive growth across the ProQuest enterprise.
Mr. Gersch joined ProQuest in 2010 as general manager of Serials Solutions. His background includes a variety of general manager roles leading high-growth businesses. He has extensive international experience in strategy and business development, finance, and market planning, with a particular expertise in mapping user workflow requirements to software service creation.
Prior experience includes serving as vice president and managing director for LexisNexis Litigation Solutions, vice president and managing director for Lexis Nexis Case Assessment and Discovery Services; general manager for court docket and document solutions, and leadership positions in finance.
Before LexisNexis, he was vice president of finance and strategic planning at ART, a fixed wireless telecom start-up company. Mr. Gersch also worked for Milliken & Company, a privately-owned chemical and textile company based in South Carolina, where he was responsible for finance, strategy and business development. Further, his experience includes strategic planning for DaimlerBenz in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Gersch earned an M.B.A. degree with honors from Emory University, a Masters of International Business from the University of Austria, and a B.S. degree Cum Laude in Management Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
