ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 2, 2007 - ProQuest CSA has appointed Bipin Patel as Chief Information Officer. Reporting to Marty Kahn, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Patel will direct IT strategy and lead business and product development systems, as well as technology infrastructure teams.

Mr. Patel comes to ProQuest CSA from Ford Motor Company, where he spent 25 successful years working in Europe, Asia Pacific, and the United States.  He most recently served as North America Director of IT Business Operations.  In that role, he oversaw Information Technology for Product Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Service operations. Prior to that appointment, he was responsible for the creation of Ford's off-shore Application Development Service in Chennai, India.  Previously, he was Director of Management Systems overseeing IT for HR, Healthcare, Finance, and Accounting, including the launch of the global intranet, the development and execution of business-to-employee strategy, and driving a common global Accounting platform.

A graduate of the University of Greenwich in London, England, Mr. Patel and his family reside in Ann Arbor.  Mr. Patel, a British citizen, was born and schooled in Tanzania.
