ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 18, 2007 - ProQuest has added PapersInvited to complete the suite of COS™ Research Support Services now available on the CSA Illumina™ platform. Introduced in 2006, COS Research Support Services combines the COS Scholar Universe™, COS Funding Opportunities®, and now PapersInvited services on the CSA Illumina platform, supporting academic and scientific research across all disciplines. COS Research Support Services puts researchers in touch with money, scholars and experts, and calls for papers and other publishing opportunities. CSA Illumina is a premier research platform which provides access to more than 100 full-text and bibliographic databases in the arts and humanities; natural sciences, social sciences, and technology and engineering. CSA Illumina’s popularity with research libraries, its simple but powerful searching and its interdisciplinary coverage make it an ideal access-point for COS Research Support Services. "These resources have long been heavily relied upon by research administrators, advanced-level funding seekers, corporate researchers, and publishers," said Jeff Baer, president of the COS division of ProQuest. "While they will continue to be available on their original platforms, we're pleased to offer another option that brings all of these resources together in a format more familiar to library patrons. Adding this suite of products to the renowned CSA Illumina platform opens access to the full spectrum of research at libraries everywhere."
