ANN ARBOR, Mich., December 20, 2007 - A new feature - called Study Paths --in ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source will significantly increase a student's ability to find articles that will help her study for exams, complete a class assignment, or research a topic. Study Paths, available now, allow students to quickly view full text articles recommended by a board of experienced nurse educators on topics relevant to their studies. "ProQuest is redefining the concept of content aggregation with tools that add value to the research experience," said Roger Tritton, senior publisher for ProQuest. "Study Paths reduces barriers to getting to the right content… it's a shortcut to the articles experts feel are essential to the research topic." "This development by ProQuest will help students find research information that will greatly help them in their studies," said Dr. Paulette D. Rolland, RN, MSN. "The use of this targeted process and tool allows students to be more efficient and effective in the use of their prep and study time to think about priorities associated with content." Study Paths appears as a tab on the ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source home page. When students enter the product, they can opt to be guided through a topic tree or enter a search term to find reading lists of the expert-recommend articles. Click on the article and they're taken directly to full text. Like all ProQuest interfaces, the search/browse experience is designed be straightforward and easy to navigate.
