Volumes before 1957 are reproduced in accordance with the listings in Texts and Calendars compiled by E.L.C. Mullins (Royal Historical Society, 1958) which also serves as a comprehensive index to the series. By using this index readers can gain immediate access to one of the largest and most important primary sources of English history.
