Official Journal of the European Union

The biggest enlargement ever of the European Union (EU) in terms of scope and diversity, the addition of ten new member states means that the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) now covers a vast geographical, political and legal area.
The microfiche edition of the Official Journal contains the authoritative legislative record of the EU alongside a complete archive of EU policy and development. The microfiche edition is the only source for the Official Journal in archival media and the only full archive of this content available anywhere. A mandatory reference source for scholars, students, government institutions and NGOs studying about or working with the EU, the microfiche edition of the Official Journal reflects the entirety of the EU's development. The OJ is part of the Newspapers in Microform program.
The Official Journal on microfiche includes the 'C' series and 'L' series. The 'L' series is legislation, which covers regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations and opinions. The 'C' series details Court of Justice rulings, plus information, minutes of parliamentary meetings, reports of the Court of Auditors, notices and committee resolutions.
The complete backfile to 1954 is available in the following seven languages:

These volumes are used in tandem, the indexed items in the Alphabetical Index referring to the titles of the documents in the Methodological Tables. Available on microfiche.
