The Monthly Catalog of US Government Publications, 1895-1976 is a faithful digital version of the US Government Printing Office’s authorized government bibliography up to June 1976.  Due to the huge amount of information printed by the U.S. Government, very few documents have historically been catalogued.  The Monthly Catalog is the only finding aid to this vast body of literature.
