Biographical and Historical Memoirs of Mississippi was one of a series of such works published by the Goodspeed Publishing Company of Chicago late in the nineteenth century. The Mississippi work was released in two volumes in 1891. These books probably contain more genealogical material relating to Mississippi families than can be found in any other single publication.
