Rod Gauvin, senior vice president and general manager of the ProQuest Division of ProQuest Information and Learning, said, "We are committed to continually enhancing the content and value of ABI/INFORM. As the premier business database for libraries, ABI/INFORM provides the full text of key business journals along with indexing of unparalleled quality. This new agreement expands coverage with scholarly titles that researchers highly value and provides access to them for the first time in an electronic database."
Current coverage -- including both indexing and full text for the titles -- will appear in such ProQuest® databases as ABI/INFORM GlobalTM, ABI/INFORM ResearchTM, ABI/INFORM CompleteTM, and ProQuest 5000TM.
Key titles include Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Consumer Policy, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of Financial Services Research, Journal of Productivity Analysis, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, and many more. With these additions, ABI/INFORM Global now offers users access to the full text of more than 900 premium business journals.
In addition, the agreement grants ProQuest rights to digitize full-run backfiles (from the first issue forward) of several titles to distribute as part of the ABI/INFORM database. The digitization schedule will be announced in coming months. ProQuest customers can sign up for the ProQuest specialized email notification lists at: www.proquest.com/em-notecontent.shtml to receive notification when new content is added.
