ProQuest's PRISMA Grows to More Than 100 Full Text Titles
ANN ARBOR, Mich., August 14, 2007 -- Publicaciones y Revistas Sociales y Humanísticas (PRISMA), from ProQuest, now has more than 100 full text journals available to customers.   PRISMA is a comprehensive, full text  journal resource providing scholarly articles for the interdisciplinary academic study of Hispanic and Latin America, and the Caribbean Basin.

"This expansion gives researchers and scholars authoritative information from Hispanic and Latin American scholarly journals in an interdisciplinary resource," said Mary Sauer-Games, vice president of publishing at ProQuest.  "These strategic additions to PRISMA are part of ProQuest's ongoing commitment to making specialist research content widely available to scholars."  
New content in PRISMA includes:

ProQuest has forged a relationship with  Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI), a highly respected database produced by the Latin American Institute of the University of California, Los Angeles which allows HAPI customers to access their index within PRISMA for maximum research value.

PRISMA includes articles in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.  Spanish and Portuguese interfaces are also available. The My Archive feature allows each user to set up a password protected area in the database to save searches and initiate email alerts for additions of new content.
