Overview

The primary aim of the series is to make original research material available in a format that can be used effectively as a teaching aid by the lecturer and is accessible to the general reader. Theatre is essentially a `living' art and the powerful combination of text and color slides enables the student to visualize the many elements of theatrical performance. No other format can bring the theatre of the past so sharply into focus in the reader's imagination. Each title is a paperbound book (210x147mm) of between 60 and 120 pages with a set of approximately 50 35mm captioned color slides in card mounts.
