Overview

The Colonial Numbered Series and Research Publications cover more than a quarter century of colonial development, providing documentation on almost every facet of British colonial administration, planning and problem solving. Begun in 1924, the Colonial Numbered Series consists of administrative reports, memoranda, lists, dispatches, paper relating to colonial federations, economic data and technical reports concerning the British colonies. The Colonial Research Publications, dating from 1948-1961, supplement the Colonial Numbered Series and consist of technical studies on various aspects of the social, geophysical, medical and agricultural problems of particular territories.
