The Gomez-Imaz collection contains around 5,000 printed works and manuscripts relating to the Spanish War of Independence, 1808-1814. Documents and unpublished papers of all kinds are included, in addition to books, periodicals and newspapers.

This microfiche edition of the National Library's Gomez-Imaz catalogue provides scholars with access to this rich and varied collection which represents a remarkable historical record of the war.
