Overview

The most comprehensive bibliography for the study of French history ever published, it includes not only books, but also pamphlets, posters and tracts, most of which are not recorded in bibliographies and are difficult to find without subject access.

The microfiche edition republishes the printed Catalogue de l'Histoire de France 1855-1895 together with the previously unpublished Card Catalogues 1895-1987, a total of some 750,000 records in 16 major subject sections with more than 900 subdivisions. The printed Subject Index makes it possible to locate items on microfiche quickly and easily.
