Overview

Begun under UN auspices in 1961 and located in Geneva, the Committee on Disarmament is the longest standing and most comprehensive conference in the area of arms limitations. The record of its meetings is indeed the record of arms control in the nuclear age. Over 30,000 pages of source material are now being published for the first time, making this collection one of the most complete and significant documentary records of the nuclear age.
