A unique collection of over 200,000 items throwing light on the life and work of more than 20,000 modern artists including painters, sculptors, graphic, installation, mixed media and performance artists and other figures of the international art world.

As diverse as the artists they represent, the Artist Files contain a sweeping range of material from gallery announcements and invitations, clippings and press releases to posters, reviews and anthology excerpts. Some files consist of only one or two items, others have hundreds. All help personalize the modern art world, enhancing our understanding of a rich international artistic heritage.
