Frequently Asked Questions
Question
Are there any Firewall or Workstation Security issues?
Answer

If you are using workstation security or if you have a firewall in place, this could be "blocking" you from placing an order. There is a method for checking out without the firewall. At the shopping cart /order screen, at the bottom of the page, after the check out button, you will see the following:

If your browser returns an error when you click the Check Out button, it could be because you are behind a firewall or proxy server which prevents secure connections. Check this box and click the Check Out button again to checkout using a non-secure connection. Checking the box will only apply to the Digital Dissertation website, and will in no way affect the security settings of any other website.

If you are using personal firewall software, you may have problems authenticating into an account due to this blocking information that is used to login.
