Seattle, WA, October 2, 2013 - Serials Solutions, a ProQuest business, is working with Hiperlink Egitim Iletisim to index the first and only Turkish e-book database Hiperkitap, in the Summon discovery service. With the inclusion of full text and accompanying metadata in the Summon index, researchers will now be able to discover over 10,000 e-book titles from 250 Turkish publishers alongside their library's other resources to gather the most relevant information for their projects.
Produced and designed by Hiperlink, the Turkish e-book database Hiperkitap has grown from 100 publishers and 3500 titles since its launch in 2009. Now considered a useful knowledge resource, the collection provides rich content of academic and cultural subjects for its university and public library subscribers.
Serials Solutions continues to fulfill its commitment to make the most comprehensive discovery service for researchers around the world with the addition of this Turkish E-Book collection to the Summon service. With an interface available in 32 languages and dialects, the Summon service makes global content discoverable by scholars worldwide. It applies native-language searching capabilities and language-tuned relevancy for 17 languages.
