Premier social science titles now available in one convenient platform

ANN ARBOR, MI, August 9, 2018 – Academic libraries can now search for and acquire SAGE Knowledge content directly through the OASIS® platform, ProQuest’s search, selection and ordering system for print and ebooks.

SAGE Knowledge is a cross-media platform with high-quality ebook and e-reference content in 10 social science disciplines. Its expansive collection of more than 5,000 titles includes reference works, academic books and professional development titles. SAGE Knowledge is the only online ebook delivery platform to link out to SAGE Journals and SAGE Research Methods.

“SAGE has always been committed to ensuring content can be readily accessible in a format that is best suited to the user’s needs,” said Huw Alexander, Digital Sales Manager, SAGE Publishing. “This expanded partnership with ProQuest is an extension of that mission and our longstanding commitment to supporting academic librarians in their workflow and effectiveness. Being able to offer SAGE Knowledge content through the ProQuest OASIS platform further increases the discoverability, ease and reach of our high-quality content on this platform.”

“SAGE Knowledge is a platform often requested by libraries and researchers,” said Audrey Marcus, Vice President, Product & Operations, ProQuest Books. “We’re delighted to offer OASIS as a source for libraries to discover and purchase the social science titles their users need.”

ProQuest’s OASIS platform connects libraries with the widest selection of academic ebooks, including more than 1.5 million titles and more than 25 million print titles. The addition of top academic publishers like SAGE Publishing to OASIS gives busy librarians a single place to search and order electronic and print books.
