In what kind of products will my content be featured?
ProQuest creates products for all levels of researchers – from K-12 to undergraduates to professional researchers in the government and corporate sectors. New content submissions are reviewed by a broad range of product managers for suitability. Your content may be selected for a variety of indexed or full-text products. What is Summon?
Summon is ProQuest’s library discovery service. It is essentially a Google search engine for libraries that serves as the front door to digital resources. When a library subscribes to Summon, we overlay the Summon index to the particular library holdings, and enable instant discovery of the library’s commercial, institutional and catalog holdings. By allowing Summon to index your content, you can substantially improve discovery and increase usage of your content by library users. Summon is the most widely used discovery services in the library market today, and is the winner of a 2011 CODiE Award for Best Enterprise Search Solution.
