Another university library selected the Summon® discovery service
to better meet the needs of their users. Michigan State University (MSU) libraries
, serving more than 49,000 students with a vast collection of online resources, wanted the best strategic search gateway to serve a wide variety of researcher needs.
MSU achieved its implementation goal and launched the new service prior to the start of the fall semester, with several activities planned to help educate both faculty and students on the capabilities of Summon®. Branded on campus as SearchPlus, the addition of 360 Link
further enriches the discovery experience for all users.
