Welcome to the October 2015 ProQuest Health and Medical content update, focused on keeping you informed of the journal, grey literature, book, and other material in ProQuest’s health and medical collections.
93 ongoing full text publications, were added or resumed coverage in ProQuest’s Health and Medical Collections last quarter. These titles add to your institution’s existing coverage in general medicine, psychiatry, dentistry, alternative medicine, and other research areas.
Included among these are Reviews in the Neurosciences, a journal, which in the words of its publisher, Walter de Gruyter is "a forum for reviews, critical evaluations and theoretical treatment of selective topics in the neurosciences.” In addition, healthcare practitioners will benefit from three new specialty journals from Slack Inc., HCV Next, Healio Gastroenterology, and Spine Surgery Today.
The study of medicine is a global discipline, thus ProQuest licenses content from publishers all over the world so researchers have the balance and perspective needed for effective research. All together of the 93 new publications added last quarter, 88 are from outside of the United States.
