Welcome to the March 2015 ProQuest Business Content Update, focused on keeping you informed of the journal, news, market research, and other content added and removed from your ProQuest business databases between October-December 2014. In addition to sharing the new content available in your business database subscriptions, these quarterly updates will update you on enhancements to the ProQuest platform.
-- What's New
20 new scholarly journals with active full text were added to ABI/INFORM Global and Complete, from publishers such as Oxford University Press (Capital Markets Law Journal, International Data Privacy Law), Emerald, Springer, Bowen and Canadian Tax Network, and others.
With the peer review process taking up to three years, working papers and conference proceedings allow researchers to read the latest thinking in their field long before it appears in a scholarly journal. Two new sources of conference proceedings were made available in ABI Global and Complete from Academy of International Business and Challenges of Europe: International Conference Proceedings. In addition, new working papers from SSRN bring that total over 165k, and new dissertations now bring that total over 40k.
Journal of Accounting Literature (Elsevier) and Trusts & Trustees (Oxford) was added to ProQuest Accounting & Tax and Banking Information Source, Technology Innovation Management Review was added to ProQuest Entrepreneurship, and Current Politics and Economics of Northern and Western Asia was added to ProQuest Asian Business & Reference.
Magazines, Trade Publications, and Wire Feeds
23 magazines or trade journals were added to Trade & Industry and Complete. Highlights include Fuel from Hart Energy, Inside US Trade Daily Report, Recruiter from Redactive Publishing, and 19 new titles from Advantage Business Media on industries ranging from drug manufacturing to surgical products, and food manufacturing to industrial distribution.
Faculty increasingly rely on wire feeds for the latest news and sentiment analysis about companies and industries. New wire feeds added to ABI Dateline and Complete include China Knowledge, Daily Business Newswires from Singapore, 3 Live Briefs from Midnight Trader, and 22 new exchange and industry-focused wire feeds from News Bites.
New market research reports now available in ABI Trade & Industry and Complete include Company Snapshot from Acquisdata, and three new reports from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD Insurance Statistics, Developments in Steelmaking Capacity and Uranium). Also look for new company reports and SWOTs from Canadean, Strategic Defence Analysis Reports, ICD Research Reports, and Wealth Insight.
Now loading to ProQuest are Country Reports for 79 countries from The Economist Intelligence Unit, adding to an already strong selection of content from this popular provider. Ask about our new EIU Country Reports archive for historical coverage from 1952-1995.
Our newest product – J.P. Morgan Research - contains analyst reports with global coverage across hundreds of industries from 2011 to current, with only seven days' embargo.
