Welcome to the March 2015 ProQuest Health and Medical content update, focused on keeping you informed of the journal, grey literature, book, and other material in ProQuest’s health and medical databases. This update contains content changes through December 31, 2014. Content changes from January through March 2015 will be published shortly.
New full-text journal coverage
25 ongoing scholarly full-text journals were recently added to ProQuest health and medical databases (full list here). These titles add coverage to your existing holdings in biochemistry, bioengineering, nursing, pediatrics, psychiatry, pharmacology, and general medicine.
Grey literature additions
In addition, insurance statistics from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are also available to researchers in full text from 2013 through the present. These reports are available to institutions who subscribe to the ProQuest Hospital Collection and ProQuest Health Management. Download this spreadsheet for all new titles added to ProQuest health and medical databases.
Computerworld and Southeast Asia Regional Outlook are no longer available in the ProQuest Pharma Collection.
Full-text indexing of ProQuest scholarly journals in Google Scholar is expected later this year. The collaboration between Google and ProQuest enables authenticated ProQuest users to be recognized when they search using Google Scholar, directly connecting them to full-text scholarly content in their libraries’ collections.
