Now in its second edition, this nicely produced, no-nonsense and clearly laid out dictionary contains over 16,000 entries and over 500 illustrations. If you need to find out what crepitation is, what various instruments dentists use are called, or where the parotid fascia or masseteric fascia are located, this dictionary can help. Other medical and general terms are also given throughout, e.g. endocrinology, failure to thrive and gastritis. Anatomy and physiology titles, in general, are relevant no matter what the country, and this is no exception.
