Ruling with absolute authority over one and a half billion people, the Chinese Communist Party is surely the most important political party in the world, perhaps even the most important organisation in the world (though Pope Benedict might disagree). It is therefore quite reasonable that it should be the only political party to which the Scarecrow Press have devoted a volume in their extensive series.
