One of Ireland's greatest artists, Basil Blackshaw, has returned to his roots with a major art exhibition in the Temporary Gallery in Carrickfergus Museum and Civic Centre.

The exhibition, entitled 'Blackshaw - Master Painter', is the first to be held in the space and as admission is free, Carrick Borough Council is urging as many people as possible to come along and view the display.
