GLOBAL troubadour Gotye continued his reign as Australia's king of pop in Sydney last night, taking four of the top titles at the ARIA music awards.
The singer from Victoria's Mornington Peninsula was the runaway winner at the annual Australian music industry gala, with honours divided in the remaining categories.
Gotye, whose real name is Wally de Backer, enjoyed ARIA success last year on the strength of his worldwide hit Somebody That I Used to Know.
