The organizer of a fashion show fundraiser at Misericordia University thought it would be a lot harder to snag an appearance by designer Jay McCarroll.
But an hour after contacting the "Project Runway" winner through his website, Morgan Harding had an answer - yes.
"He was just thrilled," said Harding, a communications major from Exeter, who planned the event to fulfill a public relations internship. "It was definitely a good start."
The Holiday Chic Peek runway and trunk show takes place Saturday from 3-7 p.m. at Misericordia University's Insalaco Hall in Dallas. McCarroll, winner of the first season of "Project Runway," a fashion design reality show competition, will present his designs alongside merchandise sold at area boutiques and shops.
