Abstract

The theft of U.S. military technology and defense industry trade secrets jeopardizes the lives of warfighters by enabling adversaries to develop more lethal weapons or countermeasures to Defense Department systems while also potentially eroding DOD's high-tech edge, which is tied closely to the health of the U.S. defense industrial base.
