What used to be a super typhoon that developed over the Pacific Ocean, typhoon Nida has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but is now on a weakening stage, the state weather bureau said.
"Vinta" (international code name Nida) is seen to further weaken as it continues to inch toward the PAR. It wil drift west northwest and further disintegrate," Nathaniel Cruz, weather branch chief of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
