Graybar, a St. Louis distributor of electrical, communications, and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has announced a number of organizational moves. Randall Harwood has been elected senior vice president and chief financial officer. He has worked for Graybar since 1978 and has served on the company's board of directors since 2009. He was also district vice president in die company's Dallas district. Harwood's appointment follows the announcement mat D. Beatty D'Alessandro will be resigning from Graybar as senior vice president and chief financial officer and as a member of the company's board of directors. Greg Hochheiser will be replacing Harwood in the role of district vice president in Dallas. Hochheiser has been will Graybar for 20 years. He started his career in 1992 as a truck driver in Greenville, S.C. He was promoted to area manager over Uiree locations wimin North Carolina in 2000, and most recently moved to Washington, D.C. to serve as a director of comm/data sales for the Richmond district, where he has worked since 2008. David Schwichtenberg has been appointed to district vice president in Richmond, Va. He replaces Thomas Gurganous, who will retire as district vice president after more than 39 years with the company. Graybar's Richmond district is one of 13 operating districts for die employee-owned company, servicing customers throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and portions of South Carolina and Tennessee. In total, die district includes 18 locations and more man 550 employees. Schwichtenberg is a 38-year veteran of Graybar. Throughout his career, he advanced through several sales and management positions at me branch and district level. He served as director of electrical sales in die company's Tampa district, a position he held since 2006.
