Abstract

Colombia's emergence as a key source of drug trafficking has understandably attracted a great deal of attention from US policymakers, law enforcement officials and journalists over the past ten years. An analysis of the domestic implications of the drug problem in Colombia and Latin America and what it implies for the war on drugs is presented. References.
