The former chairman, CEO and founder of St. Louis-based Reliance Bank has filed a suit in federal court alleging that the bank is in breach of contract for failing to pay out a remuneration package he claims is not a "golden parachute" payment but the final year of salary and benefits that he is entitled to under a signed contract to serve as a bank director, according to a Feb. 8 report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
