NEW YORK - After a test run last year from its Stamford, Conn., store, Fairway Market for the first time will offer a full kosher menu for Passover from three new kosher kitchens - in Stamford, Westbury, N.Y., and Paramus, N.J.
This represents a big step forward in the 12-unit chain's fledgling kosher catering program.
"We did offer a kosher menu for Passover in Stamford last year, but this is a much bigger effort," Rebecca Martin, Fairway's director of catering and kosher prepared food, told SN .
"Now, we'll continue to offer a kosher menu at Westbury and Paramus as well as at Stamford after Passover." In fact, year-round.
Beginning late last year, kosher prepared food was offered on holidays at Westbury and Paramus as well as at Stamford.
