Abstract

The paper aims to show that public-private report is a sociocultural construction and examines the contextual (re) configuration of the two spheres and the border between them, from a gender perspective. This analysis shows that communism can be understood not only by macro-economic politics, class relations and culture but also by categories targeted privacy policies, gender relations and women. We will try to show how the communist state's official ideology built the relationship between the state and society, how he managed to erase the public-private distinction and maintain its gendering. All these issues are relevant to understanding public-private report and gender order of postcommunism modeled, in part, even communism. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
