Abstract

In order to present the spatial and temporal evolution of the oxygen regime of the rivers from the superior and inferior Mures hydrographic basin, from its spring to the confluence with the Aries river, there have been processed data from a systematic observation made between 1985 - 2003. Were taken dates from starting points sections of primer order along the collector river and 5 starting points sectons of secondary order along Mures affluences: Gurgiu, Niraj, Lechinta and Pârâul de Câmpie. There have been analysed characteristics of the oxygen indicators regime: dissolved oxygen, biochemical consume of oxygen and chemical consume of oxygen. The variation in time of oxygen regime values from the control section were determined using daily, monthly and annual values, correlating the data analysis with the water flow rates at the time of sampling operation. There were calculated daily, annual average dates to these concentrations and the values were expressed in mg/l. The oxygen regime is influenced by the geographical situation of the basin, by altitude, flora, climate, soils, hydrometric characteristics of the stream bed, chemical and biological characteristics of the water.
