Teraco Data Environments, the leading colocation provider of Africa which runs operations of data centers and an internet exchange hub, has announced that the company has obtained a medium-term funding facility worth R200m from the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of Absa.
The new funds will facilitate the business to expand its facilities.
The Teraco CFO Jan Hnizdo has revealed that the latest funding provision is the biggest amount for any individually owned data center operator in the whole African region.
