The combination of long-time coil processing equipment competitors Stamco and Herr-Voss under the new parent company of Genesis Worldwide Ine has created, as the name implies, a new beginning in terms of equipment sales and service.
The two industry leaders jointly reside under the banner of GenSystems, one of three subsidiaries of Genesis Worldwide. The others are GenCoat, formerly GFG Corp, the leader in coating equipment and electrostatic oilers, and Geninternational, the worldwide sales and service arm of the corporation.
Herr-Voss and Stamco have rich histories since World War II when the basic aluminium industry was created. These two components of GenSystems have supplied many different lines and processing systems to all the major aluminium companies in North America and the world.
STAMCO
Stamco's experience started with shearing and slitting, then evolved into supplying many sophisticated production lines for slitting, shearing, annealing, tension levelling and coating. Herr-Voss specialised in tension levellers, precision roll levellers, heat treatment equipment and the Strand Extensioner slitting lines that are widely used for slitting without using a pit.
