BAE: APKWS Apache AWR Trials Pave Way For Foreign Sales

Abstract

The ease of releasing an Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) from an aircraft, which was fired for the first time from an AH-64D Apache helicopter during flight testing in early September, paves the way for future international sales of the laser-guided rocket and could bring down costs for the U.S. military, BAE Systems said last week.
