The strapping karate expert carved out a niche in Britain's home video market with cult hits such as The Tuxedo Warrior, The Eye of Satan and GBH.
But the performer's legacy risks slipping into obscurity as his back-catalogue of VHS hits have never been released on DVD. 'I think they deserve much wider audience' Film fan Noel Mellor, who has spoken to the actor's colleagues and friends, is now spearheading calls for the unlikely screen star's work to be re-issued.
